Hours

Shawn Patrick Cannon DO, FACOI is currently the Director of Medical Education for Southampton Hospital, a member of the NYCOMEC educational consortium.  He is resposible for the educational endeavors of up to 15 medical students.  The hopsital is planning to commence an internship and residency program in July 2009. 

During the autumn of 2008 recruitment and interviews will an integral part of Dr. Cannon's work day.

October 24-30 he will be at American Osteopathic Association in Las Vegas.
October 31- November 3 he will be on Marco Island for the American College of Osteopathic Internists, where he will receive his fellowship for his work with medical students and planning The Residency Program in Community Osteopathic Medicine at Southampton Hospital.

November 5-8 he will be at OsteoQuad recruiting medical students to Southampton.  OsteoQuad requires visits to the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech in Roanoke, Virginia.  He then will travel to Lincoln Memorial University- College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tennessee.  His continued travels will take him to Pikeville, Kentucky. Pikeville, Kentucky is home to the Pikeville College- School of Osteopathic Medicine.  No Hilton or Marriott's in those parts.......finally he is off to the West virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia.  The conference is held at The Greenbrier.

Office hours for Amagansett:

Monday :

Office OPENS 8:00 am
Dr. Cannon sees patients until approximately noon.  He then goes to Southampton Hospital for teaching purposes.

Gene Connolly RPA-C sees patients 8:00 am until 4:00 pm

Tuesday :
Office opens 8:00 am
Dr. Cannon sees patients until 3:00, then goes to The Phoenix House.
Gene Connolly RPA-C starts at 9:00 am until 3 pm

Wednesday: Amagansett Closed

Thursday:
Office OPENS 10:00 am after Grand Rounds
Gene Connolly RPA-C sees patients 10:00 am until 4:00 pm
Dr. Cannon teaches medical students after Grand Rounds until 3:00 pm
Dr. Cannon sees select patients on Thursday afternoon 4:00 until 6:30 pm

Friday:
Office OPENS 9:00 am
Dr. Cannon sees patients 9:00 am until 5:00 pm
Gene Connolly RPA-C sees patients during the sametime.

Saturdays:
Please Call, generally 2 per month
Saturdays with Dr. Cannon are reserved for Part II Physical Examinations
General "sick" visits are scheduled with Gene Connolly RPA-C

OPENS 8:00 am
Patients are scheduled with either Dr. Cannon or Gene Connolly RPA-C between 8:00 am until 5:00 pm
